Editorial: I Feel the Need—The Need for Speed…Bumps
Across campus at any time of the week, hundreds of students walk back and forth to their classes, going from one building to the next. Many students who drive back and forth to classes complain of the 25 mph speed limit. Some drivers even speed up or do not stop at all when the possibility of being detained even for a moment by a pedestrian arises.
Beauregards – The Best Wings in Huntsville are Just Down the Street
The voted best wings in Huntsville have lived right down the street from UAH on Jordan Lane since 1995. The store, named after owners Cheryl and the late Neal’s dog, started in the small corner of a strip mall, then quickly spread to four locations throughout Huntsville.
Chasing Storms and Tornadoes: UAH and its Atmospheric Science Center
“If the weather is bad, I like it,” Dr. Kevin Knupp, chair of UAH’s Atmospheric Science Center, declared. Knupp has unbridled enthusiasm for severe weather and anything related to figuring out how it works. Chasing storms is just another day in the life for researchers at the center.
